If you use rideshare, this is the closest place you can dropped off. If you are driving this is where you will park your car and then you can arrive to the resort via bus, monorail, or ferry. Transportation Ticket Center– the only way to get to the Magic Kingdom, if you're not traveling directly from a monorail from a Disney World resort or bus, is the Transportation Ticket Center. If you plan on using the Skyliner, arrive 45-60 minutes prior to park opening for Epcot and 90 minutes prior to park opening for Hollywood Studios. Skyliner- currently the Skyliner gets you access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios if you're staying at one of the Skyliner resorts. You will have to pay for parking though! Currently, Disney is only letting people in the parking lots an hour or less before the park opens so you have to time this right or you will be turned away. Driving – you can drive yourself to the parks or use rideshare (read our guide to using Uber at Disney World) which some people prefer especially if they plan to park hop.Disney World Resort Bus– I recommend lining up at your bus stop at your Disney World resort at least 90 minutes prior to the park's official opening time.To accomplish this you need to figure out which transportation you will use. Ultimately, the goal is to get to the gate of each park as early as Disney will allow you which currently is about 45 minutes to one hour. Since Walt Disney World Resort is the size of San Francisco (yes, you read that right!) figuring out your transportation to the parks is key so that you can arrive early with our Disney World park strategy. We will keep our touring plans updated as things evolve but for now, this is our most current Disney World park strategy to avoid long lines and ride everything! Best Transportation Tips to Arrive Early For some parks Disney will even start running attractions before the park opens so you could be riding a key attraction before the park officially opens for the day! If you arrive earlier, you can be at the front of that group to get through the gates before everyone else and that can make a huge difference for knocking out a key attraction or two. Even if Disney World posts an opening time of 8AM, for example, they will always let guests in at least 30 minutes earlier. The key to avoiding long lines at Disney World has always been to arrive to the parks early! Many guests don't arrive early enough and this puts them at a disadvantage to those that wake up earlier. In some ways the temporary removal of FastPass makes planning a Disney World trip easier than ever!īut for guests that might have relied on FastPass heavily in the past, myself included, it can be a bit of a head spin to comprehend Disney World without FastPass! On our recent visit, I tested out a Disney World park strategy for each theme park and we managed to avoid long lines- no FastPass necessary. Since there is no FastPass, guests don't have to worry about booking their selections in advance like they used to nor worry about navigating that system when they arrive. They are also using the separate queue areas that would typically be reserved for FastPass to allow for maximum social distancing in the line queues.

Since Disney World is currently operating at a lower capacity (capped at 35% currently) there hasn't been much of a need for FastPass according to Disney. This system is quite popular at both Disney World and Disneyland. FastPass is a system that allows guests to digitally reserve a spot in line and return when it's their turn to ride the attraction.
